Crop Charts 12/18/2011

There are a number of ways I could have analyzed crops, but these were the ones that made the most sense to me.

ngmoco:) has changed the harvest times on many crops, more than once, especially wheat and corn. So these numbers won’t always be accurate. However, even if the harvest time changes the crops that perform better on this chart will still perform better with the new times. They will just earn a little more or a little less per hour.

Hey! Just wanted to say thanks for this great website! There are a bunch out there, but this is the only one that really breaks it down for you! Not to mention, this is the only place you can find info on the new additions (buildings, crops, etc.) right away. I’m really new to this, and am having a blast, but have wasted money on shops that “look” good based on the customer reward, to find out too late that the turnaround is 2-3 DAYS! So, thank you for saving my mojo and gold! Quick question, is there anywhere I can find the sell price of shops? I have buildings that I wouldn’t mind getting rid of, but based on the money I spent on them, and not knowing the sell price, I don’t know if it would just be better to leave them, and hope that some people will shop there to make it worth it.

So, thanks a MILLION for this great site! WR just became that much more addicting! Add me if you want!

The sell price of shops is usually 10% of the buying price. I don’t know if there are any exceptions, but I can’t imagine that it would go lower.

Just noticed your crop chart shows venus flytraps at 1 hr – shows up as 30 minutes now for me.

This is a great site; thank you so much for all your work!

You might double-check the exp points on the Garlic. I believe it was giving me 1400/crop.

Hello Totalthinker, I really appreciate the crop charts, you have done a very good job with them. But as I look at them, one question sticks in my head. When does each crop expire? just a suggestion. 😉 Again, thanks for the crop charts and all other charts as well.

Thanks. I’ve updated the crops analysis page to answer this.

Give yourself the same amount of time to harvest as it takes a plant to ripen.

Hi totalthinker! The actual crop chart seems to have disappeared. Now both links, crop charts and crops analysis, lead to the same page. I cant find the table with all the numbes anymore. Could you please check this? Thanks for the great grimoire!

    Totalthinker,
Now that I can see all the progress per hour,is it me or is 90% of the crops seemingly worthless? Just seems that there is no real progression to payouts per level. Birds of paradise is a joke unless you simply cannot reach your iPad for three days. I would just think if your gonna wait that long to harvest the end result would be more profitable. Any thoughts? Am I just missing something here?

No, you’re right. There seems to be no correspondence between levels and either building or crop values. However, the better crops and buildings do tend to become available at higher levels, cauliflower, blackberries, grapes.

Funny you should say that, cauliflower, blackberries, and grapes are the only crops I plant! I do occasionally plant honeydew. Not for the profit, but more of the time frame fits my schedule better in some cases. 99% of the time it’s one of the other 3. Just kinda let down while I was leveling up expecting new and improved crops to plant. The chart was helpful thanks for your time and effort

Can’t wait to see your take on these new ‘magic farms’ and the complimentary chop in normal crop production.
My immediate reaction is that it it no longer even remotely able to compete, or even to try to keep up with released building, without spending real money. (fortunately I had 100 Mj saved up from an earlier sale)

WeRule can no longer be called a free-to-play game with any semblance of truth.

Great site!!! Glad to hear I am not the only person mystified by some of the problems I find on WR. Namely:

    1. The crops – yes, they get better at higher levels, but there needs to be a time vs. profit progression – the longer it takes to grow, the more profit you make percentage-wise (why would anyone plant dragon fruit when it takes 1/2 hour longer than grapes, you don’t make any more profit and you get less xps?)

    2. The gifts – I have been sucked into the gifting vortex of hell – buying more mojo for better gifts – many times for items I already have and can’t sell (how many Viking ships can one person use?)

    3. The crashes – my problem seems to differ from the ones listed here – maybe someone knows a fix? The game functions fine for a while (sometimes a day, sometimes a few minutes) then the drag-and-glide feature goes out, and inevitably the harvest icons above crops and buildings disappear. Its been bad lately – I’ve had to delete and reinstall the game on my iPod about 20 times in the last week.

Anyway, I’m still hooked, despite the problems. Keep up the good work TotalThinker!!!!

Just wanted to add that out of that list, bamboo is also very hardy, however venus flytraps ARE NOT! If you plant them, be on your toes or else they will cost you A LOT of gold! I learned this the hard way when they first became available. I planted all fly traps because I saw that gold return and then when i checked on them about 10mins too late, they were all withered. So then I tried again, and after the 3rd attempt and 100k gold less than I started, I decided to stick with the bamboo. Now that I know the return on corn, i may just plant it for an hour when I’m bored; I REALLY need gold! 🙂 Feel free to add me and purchase from me. I try to return quickly and I have a few good items to order from, and several goal items as well. Lvl 39 here

With the newer Harvest Orb, would it make sense to time out a garlic crop and a magic blackberry crop simultaneously and then boost the extra 15% for 2 mojo (I never buy mojo). I have some knowledge trees in the same realm too.
